The Department of Energy is encouraging utilities to apply nfor positions on the Commerce Department’s Commerce nSpectrum Management Advisory Committee so they can pro-nvide input on smart grid issues.nCommerce’s National Telecommunications and Information nAdministration earlier this month announced it was seeking nnominations for two-year terms to the committee, which pro-nvides the agency with advice on spectrum policy.
