Wind developers are seeking to overturn a de facto ban onnwind development in parts of Wyoming where sage grouse live.n“We want to convey concern over a recent series of events thatnmany believe may abruptly halt wind energy development innWyoming’s sage-grouse ‘core areas’ and have deleterious effects onnrenewable energy development across the Western United States,”nsaid a letter from the American Wind Energy Association, the Interwest Energy Alliance and the Renewable Northwest Project tonDepartment of the Interior Secretary Ken Salazar.
