摘要

Arizona Public Service is launching a broad stakeholder process to get input into how the utility should meet its need to add about 5,200 MW of capacity by 2020. The first stakeholder meeting is set for mid-February, Bill Post, Pinnacle West Capital president and CEO, told analysts during the January 30 earnings conference call. APS, owned by Pinnacle West, expects to hold a series of meetings in the first half of the year. "An effective utility-specific resource planning process should be both transparent and participatory, seeking broad input and feedback from market participants, policy advocates, customer groups and regulatory authorities — much like today's process for identifying and siting major transmission projects," APS told the Arizona Corporation Commission in a January filing.
