CCH Holdings asked the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to restore the Cross Hudson transmission cable project to the interconnection queue of the New York Independent System Operator. The New York ISO also asked the commission to reconsider.rnFERC on August 22 ordered NYISO to remove the project from the queue on grounds that it should have lost its place when it was canceled by PSEG Power, before CCH Holdings acquired it and decided to forge ahead with it (EUW, 27 Aug, 8). FERC took that action at the request of a CCH competitor, Hudson Transmission Partners.
