German utilities Uniper and EWE plan to develop a 300 MW hydrogen hub at Huntorf in Northwest Germany based on wind power and existing gas and power infrastructure, the companies said April 23. The companies have signed an agreement planning to generate and store hydrogen and create transport facilities to make it available to industry and the transport sector, it said.
