Nasdaq OMX has seen a 65% increase year-on-year in its German power derivative volumes, September is set to be a record month for the offering and it is working on a German renewables contract, Les Male, the company's head of European commodity sales, told Platts September 17. "We are doing about 10% of [German competitor exchange] EEX volumes in a short space of time," Male said. The exchange launched its German power offering in March, 2013.
