Repower of canton Graubunden has founded Repartner to encourage small and medium power enterprises to participate in power station ownership. The aim is to build a portfolio of 400 MWe, excluding nuclear and coal-fired plants. So far the partners include IB Aarau and Liechtensteinischen Kraftwerke. Repartner is targeting hydro and wind installations as well as gas-fired plant at home and abroad. Repower has come in for much criticism for its involvement with a coal-fired project in Germany and a CCGT in Italy.
