The new Dutch government, which announced a coalition program on September 30, will accept licensing applications for new nuclear power stations because Netherlands needs more nuclear energy to cut CO2 emissions and become less dependent on imported fuels, it said.rnThe coalition agreement says that "applications for licences for the construction of one or more new nuclear power plants which meet the requirements will be approved."
