Powerfuel Power, B9 Coal and AFC Energy have signed a letter of intent to build up to 300-MW of hydrogen fuel cell-powered capacity close to Powerfuel's Hatfield colliery near Doncaster, South Yorkshire, the partners said October 4.rnThe LOI provides for B9 Coal to be responsible for financing the building and operation of the demonstration fuel cell power station, which would be built in stages up to 300 MW at the Hatfield site next to Powerfuel's planned integrated gasification combined cycle power station, which is awaiting project financing.
