For decades, real estate agents have maintained a database thatnprovides homebuyers with a host of information about houses onnthe market, such as square footage, the number of bedrooms andnbathrooms, and the distance to nearby schools. But if a House lawmakerngets his way, that database will also tell prospective homebuyersnhow much it would cost to heat, cool and otherwise powernthe house or condominium they are interested in.
