Prices for California Carbon Allowances and the Regional GreenhouseGas Initiative both ticked down during the trading week endingAugust 21.CCA Vintage 2019 for December 2019 delivery traded at$17.50/metric ton on the Intercontinental Exchange, falling 4 centsfrom the previous week. There were 8,755 contracts from 117 deals forCCA V19 during the trading week.Similarly, CCA V20 for December 2020 delivery fell 4 cents duringthe trading week to $8.34/mt on ICE. This vintage saw less activitythan the 2019 vintage, with only 84 contracts from 2 deals.In the Northeast carbon market, RGGI V19 for December 2019delivery fell 7 cents on the week to %5.14/short ton on ICE. The RGGIV20 for December 2020 delivery shed 8 cents week on week to tradeat $5.35/st.
