Solar generation curtailments in the California Independent ServiceOperator footprint rose 25% Thursday as solar generation within theISO reached its highest level in a week and peakload ticked down.Solar curtailments reached 797.02 MW, according to S&P GlobalPlatts data, up from 639.2 MW the previous day.On Thursday, solar generation in CAISO averaged 2,362 MW, risingfrom 1,285 MW the previous day, according to ISO data. In addition toincreasing 83% on the day, Thursday's average solar generation wasabout 49% higher than the month-to-date average.
