Day-ahead power prices in the Electric Reliability Council of TexasNorth Hub plunged Thursday amid declining natural gas prices andlower demand expectations.ERCOT North Hub day-ahead on-peak shed $38.50 to trade in theupper $50s/MWh on the Intercontinental Exchange for Friday delivery,the lowest level in two weeks.Spot gas at the Houston Ship Channel fell 4 cents Thursday to$2.100/MMBtu for Friday flow.ERCOT systemwide peakload is also forecast to decline, falling 2%Friday to 69,550 MW, according to ERCOT data.
