The ISO New England predicted peakload would rise 5.8% to around 17,475 MW Wednesday from 16,525 MW Tuesday. High temperatures for Boston were forecast to drop 11 degrees to the low 40s Wednesday, which is still 6 degrees above seasonal normal, with lows to remain in the upper 30s, 16 degrees above seasonal norms, according to CustomWeather. Highs were expected to drop to the low 30s by Thursday, with lows in the low 20s.
