Duke Energy Florida has reached a revised agreement with the Florida Public Service Commission that paves the way for $6 billion worth of investments in over 700 MW of solar power and electricity storage over the next four years, the company said Tuesday. The agreement with FPSC also includes Duke agreeing to “no longer move forward” on building the Levy Nuclear Project. The company agreed to absorb more than $150 million in costs that would have been recovered through rates.
