Milligan asset.” But the banknsaid the company declaring bankruptcynwas a highly unlikely scenario. DahlmannRose said that to address the cashnshortfall, management could sell a portionnof the Mt. Milligan asset, which thenbank described as “our preferred solution,”nissue additional equity, or looknto sell the entire company to an entitynwith a stronger balance sheet. The banknsaid Thompson Creek could sell a 25%nstake in Mt. Milligan and look to takenabout $300 million in cash, “use $100n[million] to buttress the balance sheetnand possibly use $200 [million] to buynback shares to compensate shareholders.”nWall Street analysts are expectingnThompson Creek to report a Q2 2012nloss of 8 cents/share on Wednesday,ncompared with 33 cents/share in netnincome for Q2 2011, according to YahoonFinance.
