Detectives are appealing for information following three armed robberies in the North and West Belfast areas on the evening of Tuesday 03 February. At approximately 7.55pm, it was reported that a man, believed to be armed with a suspected firearm, entered a convenience store on Crumlin Road while another male stayed outside. The man made off with a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes. Both are believed to have headed off on foot in the direction of Legmail Street. At approximately 8.40pm, it was reported that two men, both believed to be armed with suspected firearms, entered a bookmakers in the Shaws Road area of West Belfast and demanded money. They left empty handed and are believed to have headed in the direction of Rossnareen Road on foot. At approximately 9.10pm, it was reported that two men, one armed with a suspected firearm and one armed with a hammer, entered a bookmakers in the Andersonstown Road area of West Belfast. They left empty handed.
