Dependence of yields of thermal degradation products of poly(methyl methacrylate-co- methacrylic salts of alkaline metals) on dyad, triad and tetrad composition of macromolecules
A quantitative relationship has been established between yields of thermal degradation products (methyl alcohol and methyl methacrylate) of methacry- late copolymers with lithium, sodium and potassium salts of methacrylic acid and component structure of copolymer macromolecules. The differences between experimental and estimated values of ethyl alcohol yields were substantilally reduced by changing from estimation methods based on the dyad copolymer composition to methods based on the triad and tetrad copolymer composition.
