摘要

The thermal degradation process and scission products of poly(phenylene ether) [poly(oxy-2,6-dimethyl-1,4- phenylene)] have been studied by computer simulation. Calculated values were in good agreement with experimental data in the case of dimeric scission products as well as for monomeric products. In particular, the concentration of dimeric scission products calculated with the parameters of reaction probabilities could account for the experimental values.
