Renewable project developer Your Energy has secured funding for six of its planned UK windfarms. Your Energy and Platina Finance, a private equity fund manager and advisor, have just finalised terms with the German bank, Nord/LB, to provide ￡112 million (€150 million) non-recourse debt and associated financing facilities for a 100 MW portfolio of wind farm projects in the UK - the first tranche of which will fund project costs in excess of ￡25 million (€34 million). All of the projects have been developed or part-developed by Your Energy and are spread over sites across Northern Ireland, Scotland and England. The first project to begin construction in January 2008 is the 15 MW Garves Wind Farm in Northern Ireland. Other projects will follow in 2008 (see tracker for more detail).
