The UK's Futures and Options Association's (FOA) Power Trading Forum plans to formally invite companies to submit bids to design and run a new UK power exchange, Anthony Belchambers, the association's chief executive, told Platts. The association's power trading forum is finalizing a "request for proposal" that would specify a series of requirements outlined by its members, which includes major power generators and utilities in the UK.
