A plan to move clocks forward, so cutting energy demand, is back on the legislative agenda. MP Tim Yeo is attempting to get approval for a bill that will would move the clocks forward by one hour throughout the year. This means that in the summer the time would be British Summer Time + 1 hour and in the winter it would be Greenwich Mean Time + 1 hour. The move will have a significant impact on electricity demand (see last issue).
