Old habits die hard it seems. Politicians just cannot leave the energy sector alone. While increasing the regulatory and political risk associated with the sector, the latest government energy review seems to many as a way of finding a way of justifying some kind of support for new nuclear build. This would be a missed opportunity say some experts. In the following article, Professor Gordon MacKerron argues that the latest government review should be looking at addressing another energy conundrum.
