Huber Group (the world's fifth largest printing ink company) has further consolidated its position in the Ink Industry by acquiring controlling stake in Micro Inks. One of the main objectives of this move from Huber's point of view is the backward integration into pigments, resins and other key raw materials. From Micro Inks point of view it is the enhanced utilization of production capacity and forward integration in the sales and service network worldwide. The manufacturing facilities of both entities will be maintained and will support each other. Two aspects will be enhanced: a) the quality objectives both companies have been striving for, and b) the optimal customer service and supply within the various global areas.
