Inkjet Summit 2021 Conference Reunites the Inkjet Community

After taking a one-year hiatus as a virtual event in 2020 due to the pandemic, the ninth annual Inkjet Summit went off without a hitch in July at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa outside Austin, Texas - its first time in the new location. More than 285 people, including about 130 print service providers, gathered in person to talk about production inkjet technology and learn from current inkjet users. It felt in every way like a "normal," pre-pandemic conference, with lots of networking and deep discussions. Each of the event's three days of education was followed by a networking reception/dinner held outdoors on the lavish grounds of the Hyatt Lost Pines resort. "I enjoy the Inkjet Summit because you have the opportunity to meet with so many vendors in one setting," Christina Esparza, VP of operations of InfoIMAGE Inc. in Coppell, Texas, said. Her company is seeking more inkjet firepower to augment previous inkjet purchases in 2017 and 2020, and she came to the event motivated to speak with the various vendors. "I have questions prepared, and I'm seeking answers," she added. "This event is the best format for that. We can make the connections here, then follow up remotely' The Inkjet Summit was sponsored by more than 40 industry suppliers and association partners serving the cut-sheet and continuous-feed production inkjet printing market. This included "Keynote-level" sponsors Canon Solutions America, HP Inc., Ricoh USA, and SCREEN Americas. The event was organized by Printing Impressions, In-plant Impressions, PRINTING United Alliance, and NAPCO Media.
