The book market is changing rapidly. Not withstanding the current economic turmoil, consumer demands, new technologies, offshore capabilities, changes in distributor channels, and electronic substitution including the emergence of e-books are all impacting this once stable print market. The speed with which these changes are taking place make it imperative that all in the book industry value chain understand how their firms are impacted and what market opportunities exist.
