The article analyzes Russia's trade relations with Germany for major consolidated product groups. The Federal Republic of Germany holds one of the leading places among Russia's largest economic trading partners. After a drop in the volume of Russian foreign trade in 2009 due to the global financial and economic crisis, in January-September 2010 its parameters began to recover. In 2009, Russia's trade turnover with foreign countries fell 36 percent, and in the first three quarters of 2010 it rose 37 percent in relation to the same period of the previous year.
