Adaptors allow wired devices that transmit or receive 4 to 20 mA analog signals to function as ISA100 Wireless field devices. The multi-function wireless device is designed for use with devices that transmit/receive digital on/ off signals such as switches or solenoid valves. It also can be used with other device types and transmitters that utilize 4 to 20 mA analog input signals. Field wireless systems enable plant field devices and host-level monitoring, control and other systems to communicate wirelessly with each other. It is suitable for industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, power, pulp and paper, phar-maceuticals and food.
