On September 8, SPX Cooling Technologies Inc. presented a check for $26,000 to support pediatric cancer care at Children's Mercy Hospital, the Kansas City region's leading medical center. The funds were raised during "Tee Off For Cancer," the first annual charity golf tournament hosted by SPX Cooling Technologies, Overland Park, Kan. The level of money raised at the tournament gives SPX the opportunity to name a room at the Kansas City Children's Mercy Hospital.
