Indication quality of liquid crystal display (LCD) is governed by alignment properties of liquid crystal molecule enclosed in their devices. Therefore, "rubbing process-rubbing on the anchoring surface of liquid crystal with rubbing cloth", which controls alignment of liquid crystal molecule, has been recognized as an important and base technology in the industrial production of high performance liquid crystal devices.
