In this issue, we celebrate a marvellous group of people breathing life into Britain's post-Brexit economy: apprentices. No, I'm not talking about young men in overalls laying bricks (however valuable that may be). The reality is, in an economy that's 80 per cent services, today's apprentices look very different. Modern apprenticeships are modelled on the skills we need to drive up productivity - chiefly, management and leadership, as well as digital and advanced data capabilities.
