In "Globalizing the Health and Safety Profession," the cover story in the March 2016 issue of OHS Professional from the Safety Institute of Australia, editor Craig Donaldson takes an in-depth look at the OHS Professional Capability Framework: A Global Framework for Practice. The framework was developed by the International Network of Safety and Health Practitioner Organizations (INSHPO), which acts as a forum for international collaboration among professional organizations to improve safety and health at work. ASSE is a founding member of INSHPO, and Dennis Hudson, ASSE's acting executive director, played a key role in developing the framework, along with Andrew Hale, emeritus professor at the Netherlands' Delft University of Technology and chair of Hastam, and Pam Pryor, registrar of the Australian OHS Education Accreditation Board (AOHSAB).
