If you have been thinking about taking a college course or pursuing a certification, consider applying for a professional education grant from the ASSE Foundation (ASSEF). Grants are generally valued between $500 and $1,000, and can help cover expenses related to attending seminars, certification workshops, conferences and college courses. Applications are being accepted through Dec. 1, 2016, with awards disbursed in April 2017.
