Cycle skating was the roller blad-ing of the 1920s-and apparently quite popular in France. But, the sport never really caught on. From the looks of them, early cycle skates don't appear to be the easiest equipment to use and they look a bit uncomfortable, but if you watch this video the guys sure look like they are having fun.
