The new LZR-i30 from BEA provides presence detection for industrial doors and uses time-of-flight measurement technology to scan four planes in front of a door. Its 3-D detector recognizes objects as small as 2 in. throughout the full door opening area. Product installs in an overhead mounting position and is an alternative to contact edges, light beams, light grids and other safety solutions.
