According to CDC, teenage drivers make up 30% of accidents, and one out of every three teenagers die in car crashes, making it the leading killer of teenagers. In 2005, teens accounted for 10% of the population and 12% of crashes, and 4,544 people age 16 to 19 lost their Jives in car crashes.rnWhile some argue that better driver training or increasing the driving age can address some of the factors that lead to these accidents, Ford MotorrnCorp. has a dif ferent idea. It has begun to use a new technology called Mykey, which will be standard on the 2010 Ford Focus models and will eventu-ally become standard on other Ford, Lincoln and Mercury models.
