Dot and NSC have teamed to help support a new advocacy group that raises awareness and supports victims of distracted driving. Called FocusDriven, this nonprofit organization is devoted specifically to raising awareness about the dangers of distracted driving. The organization is led by Jennifer Smith, an advocate against distracted driving since her mother was killed by someone talking on a cell phone while driving in 2008.
