Nortrax, a John Deere construction and forestry equipment dealer, has surpassed 6 million working hours without a lost-time injury. Nortrax employees have spent many years focusing efforts on safety and wellness, and they believe safety is vital to their ongoing success. "We will continue to develop and implement safety procedures and training programs that will keep Nortrax employees healthy, safe and productive every day," says Nortrax's Tim Murphy. New safety initiatives at the company include: utilizing best practices from specific dealers and regions; developing training partnerships; and obtaining additional safety certifications.
