In response to OSHA interest in industry best practices and regulation in the wake of several accidents involving cranes and mast climbing work platforms (MCWPs), Kevin O'Shea, chair of International Powered Access Federation's (IPAF) International Mast Climbing Work Platform Committee, recently presented information on mastclimber safety before OSHA's Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH).
