Promoting eye health is one way that employers can control skyrocketing healthcare costs, says Prevent Blindness America. "The more vision ailments that employees have, the more medical care they use, which generates increased health-related expenditures for the employer." To help employers combat these costs, the organization has launched the Healthy Eyes Vision Wellness Program to deliver educational and promotional materials that discuss vision wellness.
