OSHA's Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to revise the Explosives & Blasting Agents standard has been withdrawn for revisions. According to OSHA, the rule, which discusses the handling and transportation of explosives, needs to be reproposed at a later date to clarify the intent. The original rule was to update workplace safety regulations, but it also included some restrictions that made it hard for gun shops, sporting goods stores, shippers and ammunition dealers to comply.
