European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) has developed a resource, "Conversation Starters for Workplace Discussions About Mus-culoskeletal Disorders." The document includes scenarios designed for use with workers who perform tasks that have the for potential musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). The scenarios highlight challenges workers may face and show the importance of understanding company procedures related to MSD prevention.Managers can use this resource in a discussion-style workshop or as an opener to a training session, breaking participants into small groups to discuss each scenario and their own points of view. EU-OSHA says facilitators can customize the scenarios and questions to incorporate a company's policies and procedures.
