Camfil APC's Gold Series X-Flo industrial dust collector is designed to capture dust from industrial sites that produce fine, fibrous and heavy dust and fumes, such as pharmaceutical, mining, food and chemical processing industries. Product is also suited to metalworking applications such as welding, thermal spray, plasma and laser cutting, and abrasive blasting. Unit can handle airflow up to 6,000 cfm using four filter cartridges with large pleated surface areas. Device is available with explosion protection options including explosion vents, isolation valves, integrated safety monitoring filters and fire-retardant filter cartridges.The X-traSafe Cartridge Knife from CrewSafe was developed as a safe alternative to utility knives that use replacement razor blades, according to manufacturer. Knife features a spring-activated blade guard that closes after each cut, manual guard lock to prevent laceration injuries, corrosion-and breakage-resistant stainless-steel blade, and lightweight handle. Product is reportedly easy to clean, is dishwasher and sanitizer safe, and features environmentally friendly replaceable cartridges.
