ASSP's new Emerging Professional Award recognizes the next generation of safety professionals who demonstrate leadership and a drive to grow professionally. Recipients of the Emerging Professional Award will be placed into a yearlong professional development program. This includes being matched with a mentor who has significant leadership experience, an invitation to the Society's annual Leadership Conference and Leadership Development Experience in October, complimentary registration for the Professional Development Confer-ence and an opportunity to engage with the ASSP Board of Directors through networking events. The program is intended to further develop emerging professionals into leaders in the OSH profession.
