Overall, OSH training and education continue to be an area of emphasis for organizations. Many companies have OSH training and education processes in place, but these are not always evaluated to determine whether the training provided or overall process is effective. Organizations need to evaluate training processes to identify areas of improvement. Using a combination of planning techniques, delivery options and periodic reviews helps organizations ensure that the time and effort put into training provides value. Organizations can integrate many best practices into training processes to make them more effective, but each organization must evaluate its own practices to determine which work best based on its specific needs, work environment and the training needs of employees.
