Former tory minister David Mellor is to join Amanda Staveley's PCP Capital Partners as a partner in the next month.Mellor will also continue in his other business and property roles, including as chairman of his property company with partner Douglas Maggs, Wharf Land Investments.Mellor has strong ties with the Middle East, whichprovides a large proportion of PCP's business.PCP brokered the deal for Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nah-yan of the Abu Dhabi royal family, to inject ￡3.5bn into Barclays bank in return for a 16% share.
