The Abu Dhabi company Ittihad Paper Mill (IPM), which is part of the Ittihad International Investment Group, has awarded a long-term maintenance and service contract to Finnish machine engineering company Valmet. The group said it had been contracted by IPM to provide a full range of services for the new uncoa-ted woodfree paper machine in the Abu Dhabi mill in order to ensure optimised productivity. Under the contract, Valmet will not only plan and carry out the usual maintenance work, it will also supply spare parts and optimise processes and production.
