Austria's Prinzhorn Holding is taking further action to reach its ambitious expansion goal which consists in doubling in size by 2030.The group's subsidiary Hamburger Rieger has officially announced plans to build a second recycled containerboard machine at the Spremberg mill in Germany. The possibility of such a move had already been insinuated in autumn last year. Now the company said that the construction of the new machine had been approved and would begin in March this year. The commissioning is scheduled for summer 2020. The investment volume was put at €370m.
