Kotkamills will conduct a pre-feasibility study for a paper machine investment to increase the production of Saturating Base Kraft (Laminating Papers). The final decision on this investment will be made by the end of this year. With the new PM Kotkamills wants to prepare its subsidiary Kotkamills Absorbex to meet the increasing demand, as well as to replace the discontinuing production volume of PM 7 at the Tainionkoski, Imatra mill. The new PM would be installed at the Kotka mill.
