Austria's Heinzel Group reports a marked volume growth in output as well as merchanting, helping consolidated sales in 2016 to surge by 19.1% to above €1.76bn. Heinzel said that the growth resulted mainly from the acquisition of Raubling Papier in January 2016 as well as healthy business development at all subsidiaries, not least because the Pols and Laakirchen mills in Austria returned to normal full-load operation after suffering damages in 2015. Lower selling prices in its segments could be more than offset by volume growth, the company reported.
